FastBreak Basketball Club

The FastBreak Basketball Club was established in December 2006 to meet the growing interest and demand from parents and students within the Singapore community who want more opportunities to play basketball in a structured and competitive environment.

We are committed to be the leading provider of high quality basketball instruction and competition for the youth of Singapore. Our teams are led by qualified, paid coaches. The basketball club and program is organized and managed by Michael Denzel.

Mike has been actively involved in the sport of basketball for 30+ years as a player, coach and professional manager. He played Division 1 college ball at Yale in the mid-80’s followed by 3 years of semi-pro ball in Germany. Mike worked 12 years for the NBA, the last 7 as head of Asia, where he led the league’s push into China.

The FastBreak Basketball Club was set-up shortly after the company’s expansion to Singapore.

The company’s list of clients includes Adidas, Nike, NBA Asia, the Chinese Basketball Association, Jinling Sporting Goods Company, Singapore Sports Council and Victorian Major Events Company.
