FastBreak U19 Boys Win OFS Invitational
May 15-16, 2009 – Singapore
Twelve boys and six girls teams participated in the third annual OFS Invitational Basketball Tournament this past weekend.
FastBreak entered two teams: FB Blue (U19) and FB Orange (U16) in the Senior Boys division.
The FastBreak Blue boys (U19) captured the tournament crown, winning four games in two days. On Friday, they defeated Qianxi U17s and Woodlands to win their group and advance to the semi-finals. The next day, FB held-off a late charge by ISS, advancing to the finals, where they beats the hosts from OFS.

FastBreak also entered its U16 team, giving the boys valuable experience against older and larger opponents. The FB Orange boys (U16) won their first game against Chatsworth, but lost a very close battle to the eventual 4th place finishers, Qianxi U19s. In their consolation game on Saturday, FB Orange defeated TTS.
FastBreak Orange (U16) team members: Rafael Basilla, Matt Crema, Andrew Crema, Jake Derksen, Dakota Fink, Trent Fish, John Goode, Sam Lounsbury, Jack McCabe, Bryan Paul and Vincent Wu. The team was coached by Trish Johnson.
