November 29, 2009 -- Over the Thanksgiving weekend, six FastBreak teams participated in the CBL play-offs. Five teams made it to the Finals, and all six brought home medals.
CBL Champions
12&U Boys Division 1 (FastBreak Orange 49 - CCK 28)
FB Orange capped-off an undefeated season (9-0 in league play) by winning their 2nd consecutive CBL title against rivals CCK. The championship victory gives FastBreak a 4-3 lead in the championship series. Between them, the two clubs have won all seven U12 Div. 1 titles since inception of the league.

Silver Medal Winners
14&U Boys Division 1 (FastBreak 34 – Sharks 40)
In a rematch of last season’s U14 final, the short-handed FastBreak boys gave a valiant effort against the larger Sharks. The victory by the Aussies ended FastBreak’s string of 5 consecutive U14 titles. FastBreak ended league play with an 8-2 record.

14&U Girls Division 1 (FastBreak 36 – CCK 52)
The U14 Girls improved each time they faced the Stingers this season, but it was still not enough in the final. FB Orange finished the season 5-5, with 4 of the losses coming at the hands of the Stingers.

12&U Boys Division 2 (FastBreak White 34 – CCK 51)
FastBreak White finished a spectacular season with a well-deserved 2nd place finish against the powerful CCK. In the semi-final, the boys rallied from behind to defeat Changkat by 1 point in the closing seconds. The season contained several close & exciting games, including a come from behind victory against Stingers Black and an overtime loss to the Tigers. The boys finished league play with a 6-4 record.

12&U Girls Division 2 (FastBreak Blue 12 – Tigers 21)
The future is indeed bright for the up & coming FB girls. Despite a hard fought defensive effort, FB struggled on the offensive end against the much larger Tigers players. The girls ended the season with a 7-3 record.

Bronze Medal Winners
12&U Girls, Division 1 (FastBreak Blue 31, Stingers 25) Following a heart-breaking 1-point loss in the semi-finals, the FastBreak girls played a hard-fought contest to claim 3rd place. The girls finished with a 6-2 record.
