FastBreak continued its CBL season with another full slate of games this Sunday.  Though the scoreboard showed some mixed results all FastBreak coaches were impressed with the continued growth of all teams.  This development is particularly evident in the improvements shown by all teams participating in the second and third divisions.

The 13U Boys Division II team picked up their first win of the season against a feisty opponent by protecting the basketball better than in their earlier losses.

Both 11U Boys Division III teams continued their strong starts to CBL play with convincing wins over strong competition.  Most of these boys are in their first seasons playing competitive basketball but they are quickly separating themselves from Division III competition by demonstrating an ability to pass and cut that exceeds their coaches' expectations.

On the Girls' sides FastBreak found success in the oldest CBL age group as the 18U team picked up a 36-32 win over a fierce Tigers' squad.  This group is coming together nicely as they prepare for their upcoming high school seasons.

Perhaps the highlight of the weekend occurred in the 11U Girls Division II game as a few girls scored their first baskets in competitive team play.  It is always a joy for all involved to see a kid light up when he or she scores a first basket!
