Beginning last Thursday evening the boys' and girls' 13U teams and the boys' 15U team endured a grueling schedule of 6 games in 4 days against competition from all over Asia.  

FastBreak's 15U boys showed tremendous heart and determination as they competed with only 7 players for the final 2 games of the tournament.  They eventually fell to Mahumeru from Indonesia in a battle for 7th place in the tournament.  This 1 point loss came down to the final seconds after the boys had lost earlier in the tournament to the same team by 4 points in the group stage. 

The 13U boys went undefeated through the group stage before falling in the semifinals to a tough team from Indonesia.  In the consolation game for third place in the tournament the boys fell to Shanghai Select to garner 4th place honors.  

While the boys teams turned in excellent performances the weekend belonged to the 13U girls team who bounced back from a 20 point loss to Victoria Basketball Club from Indonesia to make an appearance in the tournament's championship game!  The girls eventually fell short to the same Victoria team but they showed a tremendous amount of resolve in playing the team to a much closer finish in their second meeting.
